The Boston Museum Book (2009)

In 2009, the Boston Museum produced a comprehensive guide to its building and site plans, pilot programs and envisioned galleries. This overview was created by historian Richard Rabinowitz, Ph.D., of American History Workshop in association with design consultant Nicholas Butler Paffett, and the architectural firm Cambridge Seven Associates.

The book has not been updated to reflect the architectural changes made for the Museum's 2012 proposal for Parcel 9. However, the size and content of the five main exhibit galleries remain unchanged in the new proposal, so this book is still a valuable guide to our plans.
